The service covers a range of waste streams including cardboard, glass, plastic, wood, food, mixed dry recyclables, cooking oil and kitchen wastewater.
In 2021, the Christmas Market generated 128.6 tonnes of waste, with more than 89% diverted from landfill.
Avenue Recycling partnered with Usel to support mattress recycling, landfill diversion and employment opportunities in Northern Ireland.
Avenue Recycling was awarded a seven-year brown bin collection contract covering approximately 59,500 households across Antrim and Newtownabbey.
Avenue Recycling featured in the February 2023 edition of Irish Trucker.
